Pest control in St Heliers

St Heliers sits at the end of the eastern bays, a mix of family homes, beachfront apartments, and the cafes along the village and Tamaki Drive. The coastal setting is part of the appeal, but salt air, mature gardens, and older eaves also make the outside of these homes attractive to spiders, which is the most common call I get out here.

Alongside spiders, the regular issues across St Heliers and the neighbouring bays are ants tracking indoors over summer, rodents moving into roof spaces as it cools, and flies around the food premises near the beach. I cover St Heliers along with Kohimarama, Mission Bay, and Glendowie, so the whole eastern bays stretch is easy for me to reach.

Coastal homes with large eaves and exterior lighting attract the insects that spiders feed on, so webbing builds up fast around windows and soffits. An exterior perimeter treatment is the practical way to keep that down rather than knocking webs off by hand every few weeks.
