How rodent control works

Rodent control combines baiting and trapping with proofing advice to address both the active population and the conditions that allow re-entry. The approach is adapted based on whether rats or mice are involved, the level of activity, and the property type.

For heavier infestations or properties with ongoing pressure, a multi-visit programme is more effective than a single treatment, bait stations need to be checked and replenished as activity continues.

Assessment

We identify the species, level of activity, entry points, and harborage areas before recommending an approach, one-off visit or multi-visit programme.

Baiting and trapping

Registered rodenticide bait placed in tamper-resistant stations, or trapping where bait is not appropriate. Stations are positioned along known runs and at entry points.

Proofing advice

We advise on entry point sealing, food storage, and environmental factors that are sustaining the population or allowing re-entry.

Follow-up visits

For multi-visit programmes, we return to check and replenish bait stations, remove trapped rodents, and monitor activity levels until the problem is resolved.

A full interior and exterior programme: three visits over 10 to 14 days, with a minimum of five lockable, tamper-proof stations and traps set inside and out.

The price you see is the price you pay. No GST, and a confirmed quote before any work begins.

A single set-up visit with no return visits is available from $175. Monthly maintenance from $105 a month. Proofing of entry points is recommended and quoted on site.
