Pest control in Ponsonby

Ponsonby runs two lives at once. Off the main road it is rows of restored villas and terraces on tight sections, and along Ponsonby Road it is one of Auckland's busiest cafe and bar strips. Both bring their own pest pressure, and they often sit a wall apart.

In the villas the usual issues are ants coming through old timber and subfloors, rodents in roof spaces over the cooler months, and spiders around the exterior. Along the hospitality strip it is cockroaches, rodents, and flies, driven by food, waste, and the age of some of the buildings. I treat both, and I keep work around food premises discreet.

Ponsonby's tight sections and shared walls mean pests often move between adjoining buildings. I will be honest about whether a problem is likely coming from next door, and what that means for keeping it under control rather than just pushing it around.
